❤️ CHAPTER 12 * For the night of the shooting stars (San Lorenzo), we had all organized a big bonfire on the beach. * At that time it was a very common custom among young people to spend the evening after having lit a big fire on the sand, sitting around it and accompanied by one or more guitars... singing your favorite songs at the top of your lungs. * On those occasions, eating pizza, calzones and drinking rivers of beer was quite normal and very popular, at least in Salento. * Then, swimming at midnight, completely naked, concluded the kind of event that today, after all these years, we all remember with great nostalgia. * After spending the afternoon collecting firewood, the boys had piled up the fruit of their labor on the beach, near the place where we would light the bonfire and in the evening, around 9:00 pm, we all met there, to take part in that magical night. * For me and Sara, it was the first time and we experienced it as if it were a dream. * Luca and I had been together for almost a week and my best friend had also started a beautiful story with Stefano. * It was all absolutely fantastic: my boyfriend and I remained embraced around the fire, kissing and exchanging tenderness for the whole time... until the moment when something happened that we would never forget...
