I explained to you that last Thursday, during a telephone conversation with Marco in which I was describing my days living together with Claudio, he had let slip a sentence that had made me suspicious and pushed me to see things more clearly. It seems that he had planned my stay in Padua for some time, offering me to his cousin, in exchange for the hospitality that he would have provided me in his house.
