❤️ CHAPTER 25 * The rest of the vacation went wonderfully (so to speak), despite the restrictions that dad had imposed on me. Just think that the curfew (i.e. the time scheduled for returning home) had gone from midnight to 11:00 p.m. (this time, my mom and uncle's attempts to make him change his mind had been in vain) and dad had threatened me that if he even saw me with Luca once, I wouldn't leave the house until the end of the summer. * You can imagine how I took it. * Sara, however, in agreement with the rest of the group, had prepared a plan that had led me to systematically escape my father's controls. * I spent the morning at the beach, in the company of my boyfriend (conveniently covered by all my friends) while in the evening I hid in the car with him, to make love until 10:30 p.m. We spent the remaining time getting dressed and walking home, taking care to stop a block early (so I could get off) so we wouldn't be seen together.
