🌙 I got home at 4:00 in the morning. I knew I had been out later than usual, so I took off my shoes so as not to wake Luca. I walked barefoot and on tiptoe to the bathroom, where I undressed and washed myself quickly, before going to my bedroom and slipping under the covers. The room was completely dark, but I could hear Luca's slow breathing, and before falling asleep I thought about how I could tell him what had happened that night. I knew him too well not to know that he would be angry... and for a moment I considered the idea of not telling him at all, since he would never know. However, I immediately discarded that hypothesis: we had said "sincerity first" and I had no intention of breaking that agreement. * I opened my eyes only a few hours later: even though it was Sunday and I had come home late, I hadn't been able to sleep as much as I would have liked. The constant thought of having disappointed Luca had tormented me and on the other hand I was aware of having made a mistake.
